In the graphics chain, files circulate via the Internet, from simple layouts, texts and images to print-ready PDF files.

The transmission principle is based on the use of a standard protocol: FTP server (file transfer protocol). More complex than e-mail (and its attachments), FTP enables transmission (or emission) of large files. All you need is a password to access the FTP server.

Traceability of the various exchanges means that, if necessary, the various actions concerning the graphics file can be traced. This can be of vital importance when modifications are required before final validation....
