Packaging standardization

Standardization work in the field of packaging is linked to the diversity of this type of product:

• diversity through its constituent materials, such as glass, paper, cardboard, plastics, metals, wood, laminates, etc. ;

• diversity through the types of packaging manufactured, such as primary packaging (cans, bottles, sachets), distribution and transport packaging (crates, totes, large bulk containers), accessories (strapping, wedging, etc.);

• diversity in terms of products contained; all sectors are concerned: agri-food, manufactured products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetology.
