4. Information system integration

4.1 Connectors

Connectors ensure reliable, secure data exchange with the information system. The most commonly used techniques are traditional IT ones (web services, flat files, procedures stored in a database, etc.). The type of connector will be determined by the processing needs associated with the RFID event (real time or deferred time).
