2.1 Traditional traceability and traceability of hospital activities
Our aim here is to define what is meant by "traditional" traceability (product traceability) in a hospital context, and then to present the pressures to which establishments are subject, and which, since the late 1990s, have strongly encouraged them to develop activity traceability systems.
