2. EIME method
Let's not forget that the environment is a system in which interactions are complex, and that it is therefore impossible to reduce phenomena to a single equation. Companies must therefore adopt a multi-criteria approach. The tools made available to them must be pragmatic, while remaining close to reality.
2.1 Principles
The EIME method has been designed to address a wide range of complex products, i.e. those resulting from the assembly of materials and components. The tool is perfectly suited to electronic products such as computers and cell phones, as well as electrical products such as transformers and circuit breakers. EIME can also be used to model cars, trains and aircraft. ALSTOM is one of the first users of EIME.
