The dividing line between the terms "technique" and "technologie", here from a philosophical point of view, does not in any way reflect an opposition, but rather a continuity that starts with the gesture (know-how) and extends into the object (artefact ). If, today, the expression "philosophy of technology" tends to be more widely used, it's mainly due to a corpus written mainly in English, a language that hardly ever uses the word "technique".
