Oil and gas are still indispensable to energy production in the world

and to distribute them from extraction sites to sites of operation and use, several solutions have been developed, namely: pipelines, rail, ship and road. Being the least expensive of all, pipelines are the most commonly used means of transporting oil and gas, with around 70% of all petroleum products transported by pipeline.
