4. Dry polymer electrolytes based on block copolymers
Solid electrolyte block copolymers comprise an A block, which
ensures ion conduction, and a B block, which provides the material's
mechanical strength thanks to its high Tg value. The choice
of the conductive block is essentially based on POE, which forms either
the main linear backbone or the pendant grafts of block A. The main
architectures of POE-based block copolymers, shown in figure 1, correspond to either
AB diblocks or BAB triblocks.
