Take stock of your company's current technologies
Innovate by acquiring the right technological skills

First of all, define the scope of your study: the entire company, one of its production sites, or a specific department? Start small, so you can master the approach. Next, realize that you don't have a technological heritage, because your technology is constantly evolving and, above all, its value is versatile (Kodak® and its know-how in silver halide is a striking example).

We'll focus here on the "skills" aspect, but of course you need to take stock of your company's most important equipment, and be able to judge its value (production capacity compared with the competition, capability, etc.).
