Low-tech

Low-tech is explicitly opposed to high-tech. It is characterized by the use of technologies that are simple, inexpensive, accessible to all, easily repairable and based on common, locally available means (including the reuse or recycling of everyday objects and/or materials). Low-tech is therefore an integral part of the concept of frugal innovation, which consists in meeting specific needs with the least sophisticated and least expensive technological solutions possible, without compromising on the level of service provided.
