5. Our advice
When drawing up your specifications, make sure you don't have any advanced contacts with the publishers. Although you need to know their solutions and what they offer, it's not necessary to talk to them about your project too early, so that you have time to reflect and formalize, without having a vision that's too formatted by the packaging of commercial offers. Formalized, realistic and prioritized specifications are a guarantee of a successful project, both for the publisher and for you.
Be realistic in what you ask publishers for in terms of functionality. Gimmicky features that you won't use will always cost you too much.
