1. Setting up the governance of the intrapreneurship program

The first thing to do is to set up the steering committee and define with it the ambition, i.e. the budget dedicated to explorations.

1.1 Setting up a steering committee

Composing the group of managers who will govern the intrapreneurial program, known as the steering committee, is a delicate exercise. Between the managers who want to be on it, but shouldn't be, and those who should be, but don't want to be, anything is possible!

You have to start at the top. It's vital that the program is driven from the top. Having the CEO or a close representative on the board increases the program's success rate.
