ABSTRACT
Energy is at the core of many economic and environmental concerns. The intelligent management of energy is associated to an efficient storage system. The current lines of research aim at improving the current performances of the systems. The super capacitor sector illustrates this point perfectly as, recently, the development of microporous carbons has allowed for a significant increase in the autonomy of such systems which could thus be used in transport applications.

Abstract

A smart energy management is linked to an efficient storage system, thus the current research works are focused on the performance improvement of today's devices. Recently, the development of microporous carbons leads to a sharp increase of ultracapacitor energy density making them suitable for transportation applications.
