Magnetography

An example of a magnetographic printer is the one produced by Nipson Technology (located in Belfort, France), whose worldwide market share represents 9% of the black & white digital market. The company is a spin-off from Bull Peripherals and world leader in the design of magnetic digital presses. Nipson Technology's printers have an architecture similar to that mentioned in Bull's articles: a cylindrical metal drum (aluminum) covered with a layer of magnetic medium and a "magnetic guide" undercoat, around which are placed devices specific to the various stages of magnetography.
