Derby (JavaDB) in embedded mode: an implementation example

To illustrate how Derby works, we propose to develop an example in the context of parking management: billing, available spaces in real time... To this end, our example is based on two different applications:

• one for customers (MOBILE APPLICATION) ;

• one for parking lot managers (STATIC APPLICATION).

The mobile application enables customers to track their parking consumption in the company's various parking lots.

The static application, specific to each parking lot of the managing company, enables (1) the status/occupancy level of the parking lot to be known, and (2) the billing history for the parking lot to be managed....
