4. Conclusion and outlook
Power consumption has become a critical issue in electronic systems, particularly embedded systems. As we have seen, managing system power consumption is a complex, cross-cutting problem, requiring regular, dynamic trade-offs between performance and energy dissipation. To meet the requirements of the latest applications, power optimization must be carried out at every design level. While in recent years, methods at the logical and physical levels have been developed and integrated into commercial CAD tools, methods at the behavioral and architectural levels still require considerable effort, especially as they are the most effective.
