4. Intentions (Intents )
Each application runs in its own process. Each process is immersed in a sandbox, an execution space that enhances security. This means that, by default, no application can perform operations on the data of another application.
Although intents are generally used between components of the same application, more general questions arise:
how to transfer data from one application to another?
how to invoke a component from another application without knowing its name?
how to retrieve the results of another application?
