9. Parallelism with threads and channels
Rust provides a mechanism for launching threads (and those of the underlying operating system, if applicable) in a simple way, making it possible to program parallel and concurrent applications. We've decided not to translate thread into French, as all possible solutions are potential sources of confusion and misunderstanding. The example below is inspired by the official
documentation.
Rust also provides mutex primitives for protecting data in a program section so that no other thread can modify it during execution, and arc for securely sharing a value between several threads, see an example here
