Research and development studies on erosion-corrosion began at EDF in the 1970s. They contributed to the development of the BRT-CICERO™ Code. They are being continued today, with the aim of meeting the needs of the French nuclear fleet, particularly in terms of improving the BRT-CICERO™ Code or major developments in the chemical conditioning of the nuclear fleet.
