Hot corrosion of metals and alloys - State of the art of testing facilities

In all, some forty test benches have been identified for testing the resistance of materials at high temperatures. Of these, only a few are designed to study hot corrosion phenomena. Hot corrosion tests are generally carried out using a tube furnace or a burner bench.
