Although enormous progress has been made in recent years, it seems that the aging of display devices, which results in a more or less rapid decrease in luminance at constant voltage, is helping to limit the expansion of the OLED market. Improving the lifetimes of EL diodes involves understanding the degradation mechanisms of materials and displays.
