Chemical Frosting of Glass

Glass has many and varied uses in everyday life. In fact, glass applications range from construction to kitchen equipment, from automobiles to cosmetics. Some sectors require flat glass, while others need shaped glass, or glass with special properties. In most cases, glass is used for its transparent properties, but in the decoration or cosmetics sectors, the surface of the glass needs to be frosted to give it a diffusing, opacifying or silky appearance, depending on the field of application. Glass frosting is a frequently used method, and is a mark of recognition for certain brands depending on the method used.
