VEC: VEC is a technique for gluing glass products to a frame to form the exterior envelope of buildings (figure 1 ).

Bonding transmits climatic loads and the weight of glazing units to the framing elements.

VEA: VEA is a technique for installing the glass products that make up the exterior envelope of a building, using at least one mechanical fastener for these glass elements, which may or may not be punctual or continuous (figure 2 ).
