3. Longitudinal characterization of Dunkirk production
We carried out an index I assessment campaign defined by Directive 2013/59/Euratom on slags produced by the Dunkirk plant over 6 months, from January to June 2015.
The ores consumed by Dunkirk are homogenized; ship cargoes are unloaded in superimposed layers to form stockpiles, which are then taken back by slice to feed the three blast furnaces in the smelting department.
