2. Strip production by coil slitting
2.1 Process
This involves three main successive operations:
unwinding the slit coil ;
slitting the coil by cutting it lengthwise ;
winding of produced strips.
Several constraints need to be resolved. These relate to edge fall, slitting and winding.
