Surface preparation
The main aim is to clean the steel surface of exogenous dirt (dust, oil, abrasion fines) and endogenous dirt (oxides).
Depending on the process, a fluxing step can be added to improve and regulate steel/zinc reactivity.
These operations determine the quality of the interface (regularity, distribution of alloys) and, consequently, contribute to the final adhesion...
