Nitriding and nitrocarburizing - Industrial Processes and Practices

Nitriding, nitrocarburizing, oxynitriding, oxynitrocarburizing, sulfonitriding, sulfonitrocarburizing are all variants of the same family of treatments, which we will often refer to in the remainder of this text under the generic term nitriding.
