5. Test methods
Most laboratory tests are performed according to norms and standards.
5.1 Pelage
The peel test is used to check the adhesion of tape to materials. This test method measures the force required to tear off a strip of adhesive tape applied to a material under specified conditions (given angle and speed).
This test will determine the compatibility between the tape adhesive and the material(s).
