2.1 General configuration and screw geometry
In the following, we'll focus on the configuration of a ThermoFisher MiniLab microcompounder. Fig. 3 shows top views of the unit in co- and counter-rotating configurations. To give an idea of scale, the screw length is 109.5 mm. The main dimensions of this micro-compounder are given in the table below.
