1. A raw material that can be processed according to need

LSR silicones are still used in 3D printing today. They are preferred to HCRs thanks to their low viscosity, enabling transformation or shaping without high stress.

1.1 Polyaddition cross-linking

Polyaddition crosslinking (figure 1 ) is the change-of-state mechanism used in LSR and HCR silicone elastomers, particularly for medical grades. They are often referred to as "platinum" because of the catalyst used.
