4. Contribution of modeling
After outlining the difficulties of modeling and how it can be applied, we will illustrate its interest with a few examples of applications, limited to polymerization and chemical modification reactions. The case of polymer blends, composites or thermoplastic elastomers, for which, in addition to the chemical reaction involved, there is the essential problem of morphology evolution and control, will not be dealt with here.
