Textile glass fibers are sensitive to moisture and abrasion. Therefore, packaging is playing a critical role. For best protection, it is highly recommended to keep glass fiber products in their packaging until final use. If glass rovings/product are partially used, they should be stored in their initial packaging for further use.

It is also important to avoid any exposure to water (rain, accidental leakage, etc.) in the storage area because product’s properties can be significantly altered. Similarly, in cold weather, water condensation should be avoided, packaged product should be stored at room temperature long enough before further use.
