9. Multiband co-extrusion
Multistrip technology is another type of co-extrusion, in which polymers are no longer layered, but arranged side by side in strips of varying width.
Multi-strip foils are produced with single-channel or multi-channel dies.
The die has a single channel which is divided into as many sub-channels as there are belts: figure

illustrates the case of two sub-channels (two inlets) separated by an insert which follows the shape of the channel and whose position can be adjusted to adapt the respective widths of belts A and [B-C].
