1. Polycrystal behavior
In this section, we will first distinguish the case of structures made up of two to a few dozen grains, before tackling the problem of the mechanical behavior of the polycrystalline volume element (VER).
The mechanical response of bi- and multicrystals can be calculated by assigning to each grain the laws of crystalline plasticity described in the article
