3.1 Ti-Nb

Biomedical applications are the main field of application for AMFs. It is therefore important for these alloys to respond as effectively as possible to the expectations and problems specific to this sector. The biomedical sector uses a large number of different materials, most of which have been developed to meet the needs of other sectors (aeronautics, transport, industry, etc.). Ni-Ti, the main AMF used in biomedical applications, is no exception to this rule. Its properties open up numerous applications in implantology (orthopedics, dentistry, etc.).
