We consider two main classes of fatal products: gases and dusts, on the one hand, and massive products such as speiss, dross and slag, on the other.

There are three types of gas produced by metallurgical furnaces, depending on whether they are :
steel industry;
non-ferrous metallurgy ;
aluminum metallurgy.
