Biorefinery; biorefinery
Industrial plants that transform agricultural crops and biomass into biofuels, agrofuels for the production of heat, value-added chemicals and biomaterials.
Lignin kraft; kraft lignin
Lignin obtained by the kraft process, which consists in cooking wood in a basic medium in the presence of sodium sulfide to obtain cellulose fibers.
Lignosulfonates; lignosulfonates
Lignin obtained by the bisulfite process, which consists in cooking wood in an acid medium to obtain cellulose.
Liqueurs; liqueur
Solution containing chemical reagents for wood delignification.
We find the white liquor which contains only the reagents and the black liquor which is obtained at the end of cooking and contains the lignin fragmented by the process.
