3. Applications for electroplated composite coatings
Depending on the nature of the dispersed elements contained in the metal matrix, composite coatings possess one or more of the following characteristics: anti-wear, anti-friction, anti-abrasion, anti-corrosion, etc.
This new family of materials can be applied in a variety of fields:
dimensional adjustment of parts worn in service or undersized as a result of faulty machining;
surface protection of new parts ;
replacement of plasma flashlight spray coating processes (particularly for parts that can be deformed by heating);
processing parts with complex geometric shapes ;
