1. Different effluents

The effluents to be treated are the dynamic rinsing waters from the various workshop treatment lines. This water contains, in lower concentrations, the constituents of surface preparation baths, deposition baths and ions or compounds released by etching of substrates or created by chemical or electrolytic reactions.

1.1 Main constituents of degreasing rinse water

  • soda ash, sodium carbonate, sodium polyphosphates, sodium silicate, sodium borate;

  • non-ionic and anionic surfactants ;

  • complexing agents: ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, nitrolotriacetic acid, sodium citrate ;

  • oils and fats.
