Mineral form of TiO ₂ that remains stable from room temperature up to melting temperature (1,855°C). Its specific gravity is 4.250.

Anatase; anatase

Mineral form of TiO ₂ that irreversibly transforms into rutile in the 600-800° C temperature range. Its specific gravity is 3.994.
