2. Data processing
Data processing is based on the raw data from the analyzer. Using the sensitivity calculated with a standard gas, it allows the concentration and isotopic composition of noble gases in an unknown sample to be determined. It is then necessary to apply corrections to these initial calculations to account for analytical conditions (blank), instrumental fractionation, and isobaric interferences. Finally, an error propagation reflecting the analytical conditions on these results is essential before any scientific interpretation.
