The subjects covered are limited to descriptions of the main methods of organic analysis whose field of application covers the various activities of applied organic chemistry; in each case, the most common techniques are described, mentioning the main possibilities and optimum conditions of use.
4.1 Elementary analysis
Qualitative elemental analysis: this involves identifying the main atoms in organic molecules.
Quantitative elemental analysis: this section is limited to methods that do not require specialization or special equipment, and are therefore applicable in all organic analysis laboratories: Kjeldahl, Schöniger methods, etc.
