4. Instrument configurations
As mentioned in the previous paragraph, instrumental parameters have an influence on the intensity of emission lines and therefore on analytical results. Similarly, the instrumental configuration of a LIBS system is equally important, and must be adapted to the needs and, above all, the constraints of use. It is possible to identify several families of configurations (figure
