4. Physico-chemical applications
Thermometric titration can be used to determine thermal effects of physical, chemical or biological origin under certain conditions. Thermodynamic and kinetic data can therefore be accessed.
First of all, it's worth mentioning the procedures for determining the thermal effects we're looking for.
Reaction enthalpy can be deduced in two ways: from the thermal effect dissipated during the titration reaction period, or by the initial tangent method.
