Let's take a look at a few lighting lamps grouped together in the standard
NF EN 62471
under the name LUC (lamp for everyday use).
Such lamps are found in workplaces, public spaces... mainly for lighting purposes. In most cases, they are harmless to human health, and are therefore classified in the risk-free group. Lamps based on the same technology as LUCs can be used for purposes other than lighting.
