All buildings are vulnerable to fire. It is important that preventive measures are implemented and that occupants are able to take immediate action (extinguishing/evacuating). An outbreak of fire that is not brought under control in the first few moments quickly becomes a major disaster, and can have serious human, technical and economic consequences.
