In highly competitive markets, the survival and development of companies depend on their ability to supply competitive products under economically sound conditions. This inevitably involves the best possible ability to satisfy the expressed or implicit needs of users (people or entities for whom the product has been designed and who use at least one of the product's functions during its life cycle), while ensuring the safety and health of the employees who manufacture it.
