4.1 Constraints, specifications, necessary adaptations
While from a theoretical point of view "it's enough to measure the V(z)" to gain access to the elastic moduli, in practice the problem proves more complex, as in UO 2 (irradiated or not) the V(z) shows only one periodicity due to the Rayleigh wave (figure 5 ). The periodicity due to the longitudinal wave and necessary to estimate E and G is too weak to be exploited accurately.
