First, we look at the probe itself, detailing the technology and specific choices adopted in its design. We then describe the Rayleigh-Bénard device used, followed by the experimental procedure.
The probe is presented in the form of a functional diagram, then data transfer via radio frequencies is detailed – with particular attention paid to energy management. Finally, we describe the simultaneous measurement of position and temperature.
