CAD: from geometrical to functional modelling

The properties of the models (or more simply, the files) influence the operator's work. We have seen that current CAD models impose a design mode, which is likely to be challenged in the near future. Operators therefore need to understand the fundamental properties of models, in order to make the most of them.
